FAQ
What, if no internet in the weigh bridge?
The tally cleck records truck loads on the smartphone by the gate in realtime, as the truck is passing the weigh bridge second time. The tally recordings are kept on the smartphone, sync'ed to the cloud app server whenever 3G or wifi is again available, f.ex. when back in the office using office-WiFi, maintaining the real-time captured gate-move timestamps and GPS location.
Why will the cargo owner (charterer) love this?
The tallying is done in real time, auto-sync'ed to the cloud, with auto-capturing of timestamp and GPS, hence documenting what happened in the physical world.
How do I get the app on my smartphone(s)?
Download from Google Play and click "install".
When can I start?
Once you sign-up and settle first invoice you can start right away. Sign up today, start tomorrow. Seriously!

Android devices can be switched to "kiosk mode" so only specific applications can run, and users do not have access to other apps on the smartphone, such as calls, social media and browsers.
What about tallying other places than weighbridge?
The weighbridge app can beneficially be used together with the Parcel Dry Bulk Quay Tally and Dry Bulk Hopper Tally. The trucks inn the dry bulk facility can be tracked with the On-demand Truck IoT app.
Is the Dry Bulk Weighbridge Tally app also suitable for a single dry bulk commodity?
If the dry bulk loads are distributed to multiple consignees, the Dry Bulk Weighbridge Tally app keeps track of exact amounts released to each importer. For a single commodity the vessel tallying can be done using the Marine Draft Survey app.
How about remaining dry bulk logistics to the consignee's facility?
You can track import logistics on a map with the Last Mile Cargo Tracker app.
Do I pay for support?
Email support (in English) is included in the monthly fees. Regular upgrade of features is also included.

No server or software is required. The smartphone app is already bundled with a running hosting service. No additional costs.
Can I request improvements or customizations?
Your ideas for improvements are welcome! We will assess, if the ideas are relevant for other users, and can be implemented in future versions.
For how long do I have to commit?
You settle costs 3 months ahead at all times, and you can cancel anytime. When prepaid payments expire access to the app is removed.
Is the Dry Bulk Weigh Bridge Tally app just a smartphone app?
The app is a distributed app deployed on Android smartphones sync'ing tally recordings with the arl-shipping.com cloud Dry Bulk Weigh Bridge Tally server.
