How do I sign up?
Go to Sign-up page, fill in the form, and we will contact you shortly with your login and password and e-mail you an invoice with initial usage and subscription payments. As soon as payment is completed, you will have full access to the system.
Technical
Which browser should I use?
arl-shipping.com solutions require Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or newer.
Which other equipment do I need?
For hosted platforms on arl-shipping.com, nothing else is required. Also no internal IT staff need to be involved.
Can we count on that the platform is always available?
e-Yield suite is hosted on servers located with a professional hosting provider, securing power, cooling and high speed internet access at any time.
When is the platform available?
The scheduled up-time is Sunday to Friday full days. Downtime on Saturday may happen unannounced, however, if no maintenance work planned by arl-shipping.com, then platform is available all Saturday also.
Is the platform secure?
The front-end is publicly available. The back-end containing your confidential data is secured by personal authentication and strong encryption. Front-end is accessing the back-end by a message layer only, i.e. no direct access, which can be misused.
What do I do in case of misuse or suspected misuse?
You report it to arl-shipping.com support, and if deemed required, to your local authorities.
What are the start-up fees?
Zero, only a pre-payment for subscription and a minimal number of transactions applies, and you can start.
Which other computer investments do I need?
Zero, e-Yield is a hosted platform. You just need to use your regular office PC's with internet browser and access to the internet. No servers or technical setup is required.
Costs and Payment
What does it cost?
e-Portal platform cost a nominal monthly fee for transport communities and associations, provided that the association, media or shipping community promote e-Yield platforms to its community.

Can I get help for using the system?
Online documentation is available, both in the form of getting started documentation, user guide, a business oriented knowledge base, and context sensitive help available from within the back-office platform.

Deployment & Implementation
Do I need to install any software?
No software installation is required.
How do I get started?
You either do all setup yourself, using the online documentation available, including the 'Getting Started' manual, or you ask consulting or education assistance from the ARL team.
Any specific considerations when implementing?
You should make sure that major part of your members is subscribed for at least e-Schedule platform.
Which off-site implementation services are available?
Yes, there are things to consider depending on which kind of deployment you are doing. Request a workshop or consulting assistance for indepth assistance while signup.
Integration & Co-Existance
What integration works are required?
There should a new page created on association website with a simple HTML code embedded. Same should be done on members websites. Once websites are ready the rest is handled by e-Yield Suite.
